We work to the highest standards of data security. The DebtResolve system is hosted at a Tier One AT&T site, which is SAS 70 compliant. We invite you to review and audit our security procedures at any time..

 
We don't have email addresses on our accounts. Can we still use the DebtResolve system?
Yes. The first communication with your delinquent debtor comes from you, and can follow a traditional format - a placement or dunning letter, a message on your inbound IVR or a collector's talk-off after an unsuccessful call.

 
Is DebtResolve, Inc. a collection agency?
No. DebtResolve, Inc. is not a collection agency, and we don't function as such. We provide ready-built online tools for collection agencies and others involved in collecting consumer debt.

 
What about Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and other laws regulating our business?
Since all the language shown to the debtor is approved by you, and your counsel, before the site goes live, you can insure that the system will be completely compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. And since there's no personal interaction, there's no chance of a collector's saying something illegal or inappropriate.

 
Who handles customer service?
You will continue to handle all collection questions and telephone negotiations. DebtResolve provides a Technical Support Help Desk to walk users through the log-in and registration process, if needed, based on your initial communication to them. Agents at the Help Desk have no access to your customers' account information..

 
Should we suspend other collection tactics while using the DebtResolve system?
We recommend that you continue to use your traditional collection tactics, and add the online DebtResolve options to the mix. Over time, you and we will determine which of your accounts can be directed only to DebtResolve, saving you collector time and money.

 
How do I manage the system?
The DebtResolve system can be managed completely from your desktop through an internet portal. Different levels of security are provided so that you can assign different responsibilities throughout your organization. The system logs changes made by every authorized system user.

 
How are the online debtor payments handled?
We set up your site to accept whatever payment methods you now use, including credit cards, electronic checks, PayPal or Western Union QuickCollect. And the payments can go through your gateway or DebtResolve's. Either way, the money is deposited directly into your account.
